This network was established as a means of promoting an environment that consists of mutual levels of cooperation between those in the previously-mentioned medical professions, patients, and third party payors.

CPTN focuses on improvement the treatment times of patients, reducing costs by encouraging value-based care, increasing the lives of patients, and assisting in the process of aiding patients to discover reputable and fully credentialed clinics in the State of Colorado.

Additionally, the Colorado Physical Therapy Network is a type of Management Service Organization (MSO). To learn more about this wonderful network, continue reading and be sure to bookmark us so that you may return for the second installment to this series next week.

Why Join the Colorado Physical Therapy Network?

CPTN Level of Accountability
One of the main advantages to joining the Colorado Physical Therapy Network is the fact that the organization holds itself to a high level of accountability. This network strives to be accountable to the patients that they serve and represent, the members of the network, as well as to themselves.

There are various types of provisions that have been constructed into the “mainframe” of the network in order to optimize all business dealings. Examples of these provisions include focusing only on including clinics that are independently-owned and place a high level of interest in providing quality care to patients, eligibility requirements by clinics, and the credentialing of each therapist that is part of the network.

Volume is irrelevant to the CPTN; however, value is of the highest level of importance to the network.

Our Services
The Colorado Physical Therapy Network offers numerous services to our members. In addition to being a network, we are also an Independent Practice Association (IPA).

Our association includes a total of 130 different outpatient rehabilitation clinics. CPTN works to communicate with each of these clinics.

Additionally, we communicate and actively engage with the payors of managed care, the care carriers, practice providers that work on an independent basis, clinics, and other types of practice providers. It is our goal to ensure that each clinic and provider within our network is successfully able to place their focus on patient care, while getting the most from each of the payors and/or carriers within the industry.

All of the providers and clinics that elect to become members of the Colorado Physical Therapy Network will reap numerous rewards. The status of the network has now been raised to what many in the industry refer to as a “Messenger Model System”.

In order to be a part of our network, you must meet certain eligibility standards when it comes to care. Clinics that are owned by a corporation are not a suitable fit for CPTN and will not be approved for membership.
